Hey yoooooo!!!! This place ROCKS!!!! Authentic Venezuelan food, no jokes, excellent & dedicated service, this is a Family-owned business that is leading the Venezuelan food market in their area, South Houston, Missouri City, Pearland, Medical Center ETC… theyre about to open a new one in Blodgett Food Hall! Henry the owner or one of the owners, is a very polite and charismatic guy from el Zulia, a very proud northwest region from Venezuela, somewhat culturally similar to Texas when it comes to pride for their own state, the gas and oil culture, importance of the state to the country and diversity. Everything was good, the empanadas, the pastelitos, the tequeños, the hallacas, the pan de jamón navideño (Christmas ham-stuffed bread), YO! THE BEEF SOUP!!! Try it and you won’t be disappointed! They also have Venezuelan Chinese Fried Rice… YES! Is a thing… The Venezuelan version of the Chinese rice is just built different, (NO JUEGA CARRITO) how Venezuelans say (It don’t play) is so good. I also tried the JUGO DE PARCHITA, which is the passion fruit juice, is just refreshing and little taste of the Caribbean! 100% recommend!!!!

I came in for some tequeños, ordered, paid, and happily waited. The owner approached me to inform me about their current happy hour promotion, which would be a bit cheaper with more food. He offered to give me another tequeño or empanada, or at least match the happy hour special. We had a great conversation, and he genuinely wanted to ensure I was well taken care of. This level of service and ownership is what keeps customers coming back.
